Trends and developments in Customer Communications Management
Why is CCM getting so much attention?

With marketing budgets under pressure and consumers increasingly favouring electronic channels, document owners and marketing executives are looking at new technology to achieve higher results from their communications at lower costs. By taking a strong data-driven approach that includes centrally tracking, measuring, analysing, and managing all inbound and outbound communications, organisations can significantly increase their sales and marketing effectiveness. This session takes a look at the leading solutions in the field and presents an overview of trends that are shaping this market in the years to come.

Applications for high speed colour inkjet printers – Application strategies of inkjet users and trends in high volume applications
Colour is enabling effective promotion, messaging and more on transaction documents. Since a few years a raft of high speed continuous feed inkjet printers have been launched, which enable variable colour printing of high volume applications at competitive costs. InfoTrends interviewed 50 users of colour continuous feed equipment around the world. This presentation will give an overview on the extent of TransPromo being used today and how print room managers expect the uptake to TransPromo to develop. The presentation will also look at how users did overcome their challenges.

Digital mailbox services  - Trends in hybrid mail and beyond mail consolidation services
Advances in technology, evolving consumer behaviour, and rising cost of postage are driving change in mail delivery preferences. InfoTrends research shows that about 11% of consumer bills and statements are delivered exclusively through electronic means in the United States, with that percentage growing to 22% by 2014. For over 60% of consumers, the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords discourages them from going paperless. Bill consolidators and bank bill pay sites have attempted to solve this problem, but have yet to influence a significant increase in consumer attention. However especially in the US several companies joined the market and are trying to solve the problems. The presentation will look at who is using the digital mailbox services, which features are important and what billers think about these services. The presentation will look out what lessons can be learned from the latest developments in the US market.
